Native English teachers

Job Description
  1. Native English teachers conduct lessons based on Disney's World of English Language System, which is the leading language system for young children in Japan. Unlike other language schools, the students already have a firm foundation of English language skills. The teachers aren't teachers, but facilitators of English language production. Teachers do not need to TEACH the students new grammar points as they will have already acquired the necessary language skills required for the lesson.
  2. Native English teachers will use a wide variety of materials available in each classroom or educational support center to conduct effective and productive lessons. The teachers may also create their own materials they determine as necessary for the lesson.
  3. Native English teachers will periodically evaluate the students and write assessment reports.
  4. Native English teachers will be required to attend professional development seminars as part of their continuing training.
Requirements for Employment
  1. Hold a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
  2. Be a native English speaker from a country whose native language is English.
  3. Love working and playing with children.
  4. Be prepared to commit to a one year contract.
  5. Be creative, energetic, and flexible.
  6. Enjoy living and working in Japan.
  7. Is able to work independently.
  8. Can sing and likes to perform.
  9. Have a proper working visa. (Visa sponsorship is currently not available, but we can provide all the necessary paperwork to self-sponsor your visa.)
Location
Tokyo, Kanagawa, Aichi, Osaka, Various locations throughout Japan.
